Hockey Stick Growth: Opportunities From The Electric Vehicle and New Transportation Technology Ecosystem
August 26, 2021, 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

Cost reduction, stricter emissions regulations, government incentives, and the rollout of new and affordable models bring EVs within reach of the mass consumer. One analogy commonly used to describe such an inflection point is "hockey stick growth," where the distant awareness of a trend suddenly crystalizes into mainstream acceptance as the phenomenon takes off. This year, EVs are moving out of the future and into the driveways of the masses. In this presentation, we will cover:

  • Climate change and investments needed between now and 2050 to combat it.
  • Why we may be reaching the tipping point for global EV adoption.
  • How technology is improving and driving costs down.
  • Government policy a key driver to EV adoption.
  • Components of the electric vehicle ecosystem, including car manufacturers, EV components, battery makers, raw materials, hydrogen economy, and more.
